Bollywood Star Abhishek Bachchan is a big Hanuman Bhakt. He unveils world’s largest Hanuman statue and offers prayers with his sister Shweta. Bachchan unveiled the statue at Jakhu temple and was among the first to offer his prayers to Hanuman.
Bachchan said: "After unveiling the statue, I recalled the time spent with my grandmother who was a huge devotee of Lord Hanuman. She used to tell us stories about his adventures."
"I strongly believe in Hanumanji and am fully convinced that just having unflinching faith in him solves all the problems," said the 34-year-old actor.
The statue, which weighs 1,500 tonnes and is positioned at an elevation of 8,500 feet, is reported to be one of the tallest in the world.
