Indian boxer Vijender Singh lost to Abbos Atoev of Uzbekistan 13-17 in the quarterfinals as India's medal hopes dashed in the middleweight (75kg) category of the London Olympics.
Atoev from Uzbekistan performed better. The final scoreline was 17-13. Atoev took the final round 7-5 as well.
Atoev got the second round 7-5. And, it was 3-3 in the first round.
